Well as my tiburon creeps closer and closer to getting out of the shop. I am starting to get worryed about the wheel color. I know I want a 17 inch wheel and I could really work on the kind, but the color is whats getting me the most. Around here Black cars wit black wheels are a 1 mile thing, every mile you see another one, but I do like black rims. I have really been thinking about Gold wheels like the sukudo wheel, I have seen alot of cars like the S2000 and skyline, but have never seen a tiburon with gold. Does anyone have a picture of a black tiburon with gold wheels? I now hate to say chrome but what do you think? Looks good on a supra....haha

Please help I have run out of ideas and Im tired of buying mags and searching google for black tibs with gold rims.

If you're gonna go with gold wheels they HAVE to be the RIGHT wheels. Some Gold Konig Troubles on a balck tib and you might as well nail a park bench on your hatch too! fing02.gif

Gold rims, black lugs

Gunmetal Rims, silver or black lugs

Black rims with a polished/machined lip, silver lugs

Or go like I did (black car as well) and get rims with a style you like in silver but the inside walls of the spokes are black and the rim/lip is also silver...
^^Looks good, sorta like shadowy...
look for Updated Patreezy in the search or something. wink1.gif

I think gunmetal rims would look great on a black car. Black rims would be too much black, and gold is nice but like patreezy said you have to find the right gold rims.

Good luck!

I have a black car, and IMO rims shouldn't be dark, cause they will be lost on the car. Although dark with polished lip is ok.

Check this thread, I was thinking about paining rims:

Not chrome, get Hypersilver or Polished though.
Here's the one's I'll be getting this spring (after the snow's gone here)

Only 11lbs too fing02.gif

I personally think a dark and really glossy black looks amazing with the chrome (although don't get chrome because it's so heavy!)

Whatever you do, get lightweight wheels. Otherwise you'll find your car very sluggish off the line.
