A set of drag radials aired down to about 20psi and a set of lowering springs are all that's needed to eliminate hop.

If it'll help I might be able to grab a GK traction bar kit as a starting point for ya, though you'd probably be better off doing all the geometry measurements on your Accent instead of working with the GK. Definitely the RD traction bar would be kinda overkill, unless the suspension is identical.

With FWD traction bars what needs to be considered when locating the mounting points? Should the bars angle up or down from the control arm? Should they go from the control arm forward or to the rear? Should they be as parallel as possible or is there an optimal angle? Should the control arm mount be close to the center or near the ball joint? I've seen pictures of setups on various cars and I have a good idea how they work but I've yet to find any dos and don'ts.

That's a lot of good information there, thanks Blacktibs. The RD setup is definitely the way to go.

I also have H&R coil springs with new oem struts and drag radials, just no solid mounts. Do the KYB struts perform much better?

FYI I have no hop problem on the street, the car just spins. This only happens at the track. It was so bad last week that it popped my radio/heater bezel out and turned on my windshield wipers.
