Well it happened AGAIN. the stupid sway bar links striped while doing my front sway bar install 02.gif. I think im just going to be lazy and actually for the first time let someone just install it (im just not in the mood for installing it atm, but still want to use it!).

Heres the kicker.... I have to go on a 3 hr trip tomorrow! I'll be driving like an old lady 02.gif. O well, cant be helped i guess. Im hoping to get it replaced monday or tuesday while im on that trip. Im going to call a shop down there and have them over night it before im even intown. That way i can just stop in Monday or Tuesday, get it fixed up (Once again im getting lazy 02.gif) and get home with the normal or better suspension. Im hoping to convince them to install my front sway bar while their at it..... I'll find out tomorrow morning if this plan will even remotely work! I sure as hell hope it does. smile.gif

Also, just wanted to say sorry guys for the inactivity. School and work were crazy over the winter, but im hoping to get my activity back up! Ill post up some of my progress later....

^^^ I am sure he does. I have had those damned middle 'molded in' nuts strip before (good think I have a torch to make my life really easy nana.gif ). Only advice I can give you is to try some PB blaster and then MAYBE a propane torch would help?

You could also try to get some vice-grips on the bolt too.

Good luck with it mang. cool.gif

75% of the time, you will need to change them when you change your struts/sway bars.

I was able to save the back 2, but the front 2 needed to be torched off

ya theres no way to save the current one. I tried everything to get it off or back on, vice grips included. The major issue here is no one has the parts in stock. 02.gif.

welcome back pete, you've got nothing but friends here. hopefully girlfriends soon...

it's WAY easier to just give your car up for a few hours and pay someone to install it for you and do the job right and fast. it's only like $30-$50 installation. don't be picky now just let them take care of it. you get the car back in 2 hours, everyone's happy.
