hey what do strut bars do to improve perfromance?

Strut Tower Braces "strengthen" the chassis of the car, by tying the two strut towers together.

So your strut towers normally can do / or / under extreme loads.

By linking the two together they can only do | | / / or .

It does not completely elimate chassis flex, it just limits it and 'controls' it to a certian extend.

Anti-Sway bars make more of a difference than Strut Tower braces. Stiffer springs make more of a difference than strut tower braces. Strut Tower braces are more of a "fine tuning" aid. They are a very noticable change/addition though.

Hey towsonshark, I was seeing the post everywhere! eek.gif Anyway, I just put on the front strut and I love it. It's definately a notable difference
