ok, ive been noticeing that the 2nd gens i see driving around ride pretty low, when most of the 1st gens are 4x4 style. kinda wondering if the rd2 springs are lower, or if its just a differently designed suspension in general?

Suspension is exactly the same as KayJay says...

It's just that there are a lot more ricers out there with 2nd gens than there are with 1st gens; so they put huge wheels and that's why they appeare to be lowered. joke.gif lmao.gif

Seriously, there are a lot more 2nd gens than 1st gens, maybe where you live there a lot of 1st gens with 1.8 engines and 14" OEM wheels?

my sister has an RD2 and yeah the suspension is exactly the same. it's just the front bumper for an RD2 looks a little lower because it's got those humps front and back. RD1 bumpers pretty much curve down.

i see a lot of firs gens with hubcaps and they are driven by some wierd people who didn't really buy the tiburon for what it is but just as some wheels. some are all dented up and others arr just unwashed. poor ol' things.

It's probably because of the smaller OEM rims on the early RD1's isn't it?

The RD2 just has alot more soul, brotha. Heavy spirit, it weighs down the front end. wink1.gif
