One of my rods was totally rusted in so i SMASHED it with a hammer while it was in a vice. The i twisted it until it came out.

I was afraid to hammering to much cause bracket is made of cast-iron and could be easily cracked.

Seems to be common on tiburons that the guides seize. I had the same problem, they are supposed to "float" but mine were not doing so.
