Default Polyurethane

So far ive done strut bars on my tibby, both front and rear, next going in is cold air intake(speedstate), under strut bar, and anti-roll bars... as you guys can see i like my car to be stiff for cornering ..
now that im gonna get this all out of the way i wanna get things done like bushins, and wherever there is rubber, get rid of it, put polyurethane
as we all know switching from rubber to poly makes it much stronger FIRMER... but heres my prob... what dealers or shops would be able to do this for a tibby?????

Currently I don't beleive that anyone makes direct replacement bushing or moror mounts for our cars. You would probably need a great exsisting relationship with a shop to have them custom make you some. Sports Compact Car recently had custom bushings made for (I beleive) a Nissan.
It's not rocket sience but it does require plenty of time and special tools. If you can find bulk urathane that would be a great start. You could cut it to fit and have new center bushings prssed in. Then you'll need to press the entire replacement into the fixture without crushing it. Usually this requires a fairly large press. I'll try to find you a link.

No one makes Poly bushing sets for the Tibby.

I've contacted all the major suppliers and none of them are wililng to make them unless I can get a group buy of at least 50.

Since I could not even get 3 last time, I just dropped it.

HVE does sell SOME Poly bushings, but they are somewhat expensive for the few that you get.

I WISH someone made poly replacement bushings for the front sway bar. Those stock rubber bushings on the front swaybar suck rocks.

Lastly...sam said he could get a set of 'Race only' Poly bushings AND mot mounts. But they were like $700...and so hard as to be declared 'Race Only'. They would seriously hamper your ride quality...but you would get great steering feel! *lol*

I would definetly be interested in a set of polyurethane bushing if there were someone out there making some for the Tiburons.
