Ok, my car had the humming noise - i found that most of the time it is the bearing. Didn't have time(also i can't find the aftermarket one) to put new one in.

Today when i was driving the humming noise became a low ratling noise. Wheel doesn't lock up, but on the higher speed sounds like its touching something...

Can't really tell from wich side the sound goes...sometimes i think it is righ front middle of the car.

anywho.. can bearing make the rattling noise? does it mean that its pooping big time, if so?

where can i get the new one(NON-OEM) really fast?

thats the only car and i can't afford not having it even for one day.. sad.gif

I'm too drunk to comprehend that^^

here's my .02

yeah pooping bearings can rattle.

Is it a scraping noise or a humming/vibrating?

Have you hit anything , curb?

just get your bearings checked out.

I had a bent rear wheel hub and every time my wheel rotated the hub scraped agaisnt the drum (inside the drum brake) just a tiny bit. It would increase with higher speeds (more revolutions) and I took off my wheel one day and found a pile of metal shavings sitting in the drum. NOT GOOD. Tomorrow, take the wheel off (the one making noise) and check it out. If you can't find anything wrong take it to a mechanic, they usually look for free.

the sound is comeing from the center of the car???? is you center pipe hitting anything or your heat shield above the exhaust system maybe that would cause the humming and rattling... jack the car up and take a look i think it that and not you hubs... if you hubs are bad jack up the frount and spin the wheel clock wise and stop then spin it conter clock wise and listen to any grindin sound or strange sounds... if you do then its bad... now this is not my way one of the guys i know here in korea that works for hyundai services here did this i watch him do this and he said i had a bad one so he pulled it and low and beholed it was bad... i dont even understand it..
as for help in the US i can help you there brother...sorry

i hope this helps you fing02.gif

Ok, just jacked the car up, tried to move the wheels... they're not having tha "play"...found the "bump" on the rubber.. looks like that

or like that

do you think tha sound could be caused by it?

Also, the tires are caved in.. just misaligned wheels?

Stop now, and dont drive any more until u cange the tire.

it is a bad tire, ok that lump in the tire is a air pocket. now have you hit any potholes or thoes center lane rumblers latly, that also can cause that to our low profile tires.. korea uses them center lane rumbles like mad the same thing happen to me.

that tire is un-safe change ASAP....We dont need any one from here getting kill over stuff like that. good thing you asked...
