Now that I looked at the car in person today, I might go with a darker gunmetal, but not quite black... Almost to match the carbon fiber and window tints.

I won't have to prep and repaint to the full extent. Just give them a quick sand to get rid of the clearcoat and then just paint and clear...

Isn't that more of a bronze? Gold glistens. "all that glistens is not gold". Even still, those gold wheels don't go with the colors of the car. Even on your car, red or black would go better.

 

I tend to disagree. Not that I have a bias......
