new struts!
Just ordered a full set of new Monroe. No more crappy ride and rattling when i hit a bump. Just wanted to share how happy i am i finally can drive my tib and not have to be embarrased. And my rotors come thursday! Awesome. And i was just wondering if anyone had any hints or problems installing theirs? Thanks

let us know how they work out. I have Koni Sports now, KYB, and Eibachs, so I'd be interested to know how these new ones do for you, it may be a good product line to pick up.

Monroes are poo.
If you're actually gonna get replacement struts, you might as well get something with SOME performance.
Check out BlackTib's Flyryde section for a GB on the Eibachs!!!!
Hellava deal!

make sure you know what you're doing when you begin to compress springs to remove from strut. If you plan on buying lowering springs (unless you already have em) just wait till you get those to do the install together (way less PITA, half the work).
when re-installing new struts don't tighten top bolts (on top of tower) too much. Just so they're tight, otherwise you could cause problems.
btw, how much did you pay total? If it's close to Blacktib's price I'd consider selling those on eBay and going for some Eibachs...imo.

just got done replacing all 4 struts, wasnt too bad of a project. I cant even realize that it is my car, before every tiny bump would bring gay rattles non stop. Could not put up with it anyone, Monroe Sesi-trac were the ones i got. Pretty nice ride quality. And thursday my rotorpro rotors come so i should be set laugh.gif
