I like the looks of those too. But they aren't on the Tirerack.com site. That'd by why I hadn't mentioned those as an option as well.

I'll put in my normal .02, Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s, great value and performance.

If you want something a little better, with very aggressive styling Toyo T1-S.

I believe the Yokohama's have a good price, good looks, and above average ratings. Seems like a package I can live with. The Kumhos are nice, but thier ratings weren't as high as the Yokos. What's the old addage?.. "You get what you pay for." So, I might as well pay for what I want.

EDIT: The Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's and the Yokomama AVS ES100 are very comparable; just a few dollars more for the Yoko, but all its rating are slightly higher than that of the Kumho. Compare...

Hey Spike,
I searched for 215/45/17's on the site you provided. Most of those tires are cheaper on Tirerack.com, and as for wheels, they didn't have the NAKAYAMA X-7's I'm interested in. Thanks for the link though. So far Tirerack has been the least expensive for rubber. Does anybody know of a cheaper place? $180 CDN for the X-7's is the cheapest number I can get.

michelins suck in rain, no matter what that company says.
even tire rack didn't like the wet performance of the michelin pilot's...
potenza pole position so-3 is the greatest tire ever but it is a little bit high on the $$$.
yokohama avs-es100: i might be getting this next summer i've read great reviews about this, it looks good, and it's cheap.
