Need advice in size of tires

No, what he means is that you usually put your wider tires on the wheels you have power on. That'll be the front wheels in this case.
I have to agree with him, on the other hand smaller tires have more traction when snowy/wet, and here it rains all the damn time.
Sometimes bigger tires can get nasty with frontwheel steering, it rubs/ribs your bumper.

well if your going for performance, this combo does nothing for you !!
if your going for looks, still it doesnt do much
for performance, say better track times, go with 13 inch rims on the front with fat tires, and a rear rim/tire combo that would matc hthe over all diameter of the front to keep the car level.
for looks, really for a front wheel drive, all four rims should stay the same size, you never read or see a FWD with different rim sizes, it just doesnt look right, to ricer maybe.
I had thought about giving a staggered look to the Tib, by putting 17x7's in the front, and 17x8's in the back, cause as we all know that rear fender hangs over a 17 inch tire wth stock springs like a mo-fo !!!! but after thinking about it, wasting the money on a staggered set of rims, and having to buy two different tire sizes, along with not being able to rotate the tires at all, if you have directional tires, it just doesnt make any sense.
my 2 cents >>> stay with all 4 rims of equal size !!!

What that dude's saying
got 17 inches and 195, and my backside is majorly fat ass it looks like a 400 pound american woman who sits on the bench all day eating KFT.
I don't want to get bigger tires for 2 wheels, so are spacers a option ?
am I hijacking a thread again eyeroll.gif

yea you can go with spacers, Kspec sells em, but theres alot involved there, theres alot covered on this subject, and the over all review is that spacers suck for performance, good for looks, they can actually be bad for everyday driving, it wears on the steering pump more cuz the wheel offset increased, and when hitting potholes, you ruin the risk of breakin lugs

The problem with running wider tyres on the back of ANY car not set up for it. Understeer. Front wheel drive especially, because FWD tends to "plow" into corners as the front wheels are both trying to steer AND put power to the ground, running wider tyres in the back will make the rear of the car stick to the road EVEN MORESO than the fronts, exagerating the issue.

One good thing about going with a wider tire, like the 215, is that it offers you a little more protection against curb rash, especially if you have expensive wheels, as the tire will stick out a little more. Other then that, I would go with the 205.
