Default MisMatching Tires

well as of right now i have 4 bf goodrich 205/50/R15's on my car, and the right front passenger one died today, well it was flat and i didnt know it, and i drove it to the end of the sttreet and back, and i killed it, so anyways i have 2 good stock tires sitting in my garage i think they were 195/55/R15 or something, the stock ones, and i was wondering if i could put those 2 on either the front or the back in pair, and the Euro TA's on the Other side in pair, i am trying to avoid spending 100 bux on a new tire since i have 5 good 15iners and 4 good 17in tires already, and the 17's are going back on in the spring, so it doesnt really make sense to buy another 15

there is no problem in putting 2 different size tires as long as thay are on the same axle, eg, fronts 195/55/15 rears 205/50/15
if you put 2 different tire sizes up front one wheel woulbe constantly spinning faster than the other and this would not be to good for your differental.

I would put the bigger ones in the back, because when you think about older hot rods and beefed out Camaros and stuff, they always had bigger tires in the back. Hell, right now, brand new corvette's have 18 inch wheels riding in the back w/ 17 inchers in the front. wink.gif

Yes and they are all RWD my car is FWD, i am not a ricer so i only do stuff that makes sense, bigger tires = More traction i need more traction on my front ones, they need more on their rear
