Not sure if this has ever been asked before on here (searched and couldnt find anything), but are there are negative side effects to having wheel spacers? Like can they create extra wear and tear on your suspension, brakes, bearings, or anything else connected to the wheels?

Well the only good logic I can come up with, I think of the wheel spacer changing the offset of the wheel and tire in proportion to the Wheel bearing and causing some extra wear and tear. Also if you plan on doing anything to crazy you should look into swapping to a set of Arp studs in your hubs to also help with the extra weight, just cause the only ones, being torqued on for like 12 years now are probably not the best bet!
