Default KYB GR2 Intalled!

Finaly installed my shocks today! Install wasn't too bad except that I had to finish in the dark since I started working on it after 4:30.... Thanks to my dad for extra set of hands!!!

Well, my stock shocks were more than dead! I could compress them very easily and they were coming back in a very weird manner... Now my car is sitting a little higher I believe and rides a little smoother. Also, takes corners a lot better than it did before.

I might end up keeping my intrax spring because car seems to be a little higher now and hopefully I won't be rubbing with 17s.

I'll take pictures on Thursday since it was already dark when I was done today and I have school until 6:30pm tomorrow.

Ride is a whole lot better than what it was! I'm very pleased!

I got them off ebay, I think I paid $181 or something. Search for my thread that I made a little while ago about part numbers. People listed couple links there.

awesome. i just installed a set of Monroe sensi trac struts and shocks. Very good ride compared to how it was. A little spendy since i bought them at my local part shop for about 180$ for the set after rebate. Cant believe the difference tho, now my alignment is messed up and i currently do not have any sway bar connectors to the struts on,considering we had to saw them off and order new.

if your asking me, then yes. Someone had replaced the front ones with GR-2 or w/e. It was a very uncomfortable ride in the rear. Car has 133k miles on it, so i guess it was about time to get them replaced.

I had stock shocks for about 10K mi and car had only 35k mi when I put springs on. If I didn't change my shocks any time soon, they would have blown out!
