Default Kosei Wheel Fitment issues

Got my wheels in and they look great! They fit up fine but I have problems with lugs. I have the buddy club lugs and they are too wide. My normal acorn style ones will work but I haven't even put on the arp wheels studs yet and they won't screw down to the mating surface do to the wheel face being thinner.....

fyi the buddy club are 50mm x 25mm

muteki sr48 are 48mm x 22mm

Blox AL7075 50.2mm x 25.3

Work .... "extended length"

looks like the only ones that have a chance are the muteki's....and they will be tight. the Buddy Clubs just barely touched on the edge of the tapered area.

Anyone have any suggestions?

are these capped lugs?

the arp studs are like 3" long-... they should be trimmed to fit whatever you're running (spacers/offset/etc).

personally i would get some open eneded lugs

also kinda ot but did you actually weigh your new rim? was it in fact 15lbs?

loneshark - sorry, after doing tons of research on wheels/lugs/studs/spacers I'm probably leaving out important info.

01steve I didn't have a scale readily available but I did a lot of research before and 15lbs was on the high side.

http://www.measurespeed.com/kosei-rims-wheel-weight.php - 13.9 lb

http://www.soloracer.com/racewheels.html 13.7 - 14.6

They are the kosei k1 ts wheels.

Going to stop by autozone later and see if I can't find some open ended lugs. Thats what the buddy club ones were that I sent back. The lugs I have right now aren't. Just the regular "acorn" tuner lugs.

Looks really good on that car. I might also have to look into them.
