Yep, Bilstein (hope I spelled it right) is probably the only company that makes better struts/shocks then Koni. A Bilstein rep once told me, if you can't get a Bilstien, then get a Koni.

Even if you don't want to lower your car, get a set of Koni yellow, a set of sleeve (ground control if available) and a set of Eibach ERS coilover coils. Your road handling capabilities will be a lot better and your setup will be easy to customised. The Konis are damper adjutable, the coils are innexpensive and you can have different spring rates. The Koni are also revalvable. With the sleeve, you will be able to set the height so you don't damage your car. This setup is used on low budget race car. Very reliable, performant and tunable.
