Also, I think (but I'm not 100% sure) that the Konis are just inserts; your current struts will need to be pulled apart & the Koni shock inserted into it.

thats another reason to go with KYB

Konis are VERY good though. Just because they are an insert does not mean they are junk.

Like most Koni's they are probably rebuildable too.

Yep, Bilstein (hope I spelled it right) is probably the only company that makes better struts/shocks then Koni. A Bilstein rep once told me, if you can't get a Bilstien, then get a Koni.

I had KYB. Amazing shocks, ride gets somewhat soft, which feels nice, but they are still enough in the corners.

Even if you don't want to lower your car, get a set of Koni yellow, a set of sleeve (ground control if available) and a set of Eibach ERS coilover coils. Your road handling capabilities will be a lot better and your setup will be easy to customised. The Konis are damper adjutable, the coils are innexpensive and you can have different spring rates. The Koni are also revalvable. With the sleeve, you will be able to set the height so you don't damage your car. This setup is used on low budget race car. Very reliable, performant and tunable.

Or, get a set of coilover...it's not because you can lower the car that you have to wink1.gif
