ok. i have a 97 tib with the dreaded captive rotors. im looking to get some 17'' rims. am i going to have a problem finding rims that fit? what should i be looking for in the rims? do i need 4x114 or will 4x100 work. im doubting it, but wanted to make sure.
im not really interested in doing the captive-non captive swap right now, maybe a long way down the road, and im not really interested in drilling holes in the rims either. right now i just want rims and not fitment issues. fing02.gif

4x114.3 is our size. You will not have problems finding rims that fit. I got mine on ebay with tires mouted and ballanced for $600 shipped. They are 17". Most civic rims will fit our cars. You can find tables online of which cars will fit and then check ebay for the rims.

here is what a quick search of google turned up, it's a discussion thread on what cars have 114.3x4

Since your having trouble with the beautiful captive setup, make sure there is room on those rims for them..

have you even tried going to a wheel and tire shop to see if they have a 17" rim with our bolt pattern that you try on?

just a idea i guess.

with all the fake stuff on ebay I sure as hell wouldn't buy rims or tires off that joint.
