i work at discount tire and we torque #1 first to spec then around a circle again just to make sure all are torqued...but yes the idea is to center the rim better.

Yeah number one here to 60ft/lbs then again to 80ft/lbs.

And yeah, I use a torque stick then a manual torque wrench. Both for 80ft. lbs

A torque stick is what you put on the end of an impact gun

And a Torque wrench is your normal manual, non air powered, elbow grease wrench smile.gif

numero uno...

after my wreck, the guy that ran the dealerships collision shop told me to torque my alloy wheels down to 100 foot pounds and then again down to 110 just to be safe, i think that might be a lil much but i may start doing that just to be safe if i put my 17's back on.
