this car has ABS, you can see ABS modulator under the hood (between steering pump fluid and windshield washer fluid tanks)


This can doesn't have ABS, there is no that metal thing with lot's of tubes

it's not the whole ABS system. Abs system includes: ABS control module, ABS modulator, sensors...

Also on cars with ABS (that is working) after you turn the key to on (or start the car) ABS lamp should light up for like 5 seconds then go off.

And ABS is very helpful in winter. Especially when you need to brake in turn.

Also I like ABS, cause you can feel in winter how icy/snowy the road is. Just press pedal and feel when ABS starts working and notice how fast the car brakes.

And don't forget - it's better to have ABS, cause you can always turn it off very easily - just take out ABS fuse wink1.gif

I just like not having ABS because I grew up in a small country town, learning to drive when I was like 7, and the cars we had didn't have ABS. So now I'm accustomed to tapping the brake myself id I need to on ice, or laying the pedal to the floor when it's not icy and I need to stop quick.

I feel controlling the brake on your own gives your more control in bad situations, rather than depending on ABS. Sometimes a mixture of on-off tapping + constantly pressed is helpful in a slide.
