Ceramic Brake Pads
I was calling some local parts store for performance pads for my Elantra & this one shop told me they had Ceramic pads for about $60 a set. Anyone ever heard of or used these type pads?

Nope. My guess would be they would require hella heat (race only) to create any friction. But ask the dude, and read what you can on who makes them.
If you can, find out what company makes them and post it up. We can see if they have info on their website, or find out more info by e-mailing them.

Hey i have ceramic pads in my tibby. They are very good but only for race use.I mean that they squeak, make some noise.I use Benzoil G5 brake fluid with ceramic pads and they sure are very good at braking. The only thing is that for normal daily driving they make a lot of noise. When they heat up the noise stops. If you can stand the noise then go ahead.CU Turboman.
I finally found a 2.0beta but not the F2 edition. Now i am installing again the turbo kit and i need remapping of my ecu!
