Kuhmo Ecsta Supra MX or the Yokohama AVS ES100. Both are incredible tires for the money.

Stay away from the Kuhmo 712.

Yep the Kuhmo Ecsta Supra is probubly the best one for the price. Stay away from the Falken Ziex series, they hydroplane real bad.

I've only used one of the tires on your list, the Toyo Proxes FZ4. I love them. They're damn grippy and have GREAT treadwear. I've been on them 25K miles and they still have about 80% treadwear left. And they look good. smile.gif

Also, I don't know how the roads are there, but I wouldn't buy 205/40/17. They look awesome but I now have 3 bent rims because of the low profile. frown

Personally I would stay away from the nittos, toyos and pradas. I've heard that the Kuhmo mx's are beastly and I am a fan of the sumitomos.

stay away from the nitto's...they totally suck. the proxy's are good, but the fz4's aren't that great. my friend has the parada's and loves them. I'm satisfied w/ my current tires. Kuhmo ecta supra 712's 225/40/zr 16. My friend w/ a tt supra has the mx's and he loves them...says they have great grip and good treadwear. I also have a friend w/ the yokes avs100's and he says the grip is good...but he got 7k miles out of his tires.

also, you dont' have them on your list, but the falken alzienas (sp?) are a great tire. a bit more pricey than the kuhmo's but they are better all around.

The Kumho Ecsta 712s have weak sidewall construction. They are good for the price but avoid all road hazzards. I tagged a pothole and bruised the tire and bent the rim.

thats what i heard about the 712's that there not that strong, its looking like kumho mx's. but lets see what happens, those avs100 are tight, and i saw the paradas on a 18's the other day and they look tight, and the kid has 20 k miles on them already and they have alot of life left.
