AAAHHHHHHHHH (screams and screams some more like a little girl, wakes up his fiancee, gets biatch slapped) dude... what did u do to fix it... TELL ME NOW!!! hahaha
ok... so i looked around and it looks to me like you painted them... nooooooooo... i dont want to do that at all. a guy at autozone told me to get some acid (cant remember which one he said) and he said it would eat away the clear coat... so if i got something like that and just rubbed all the clear coat away i could re-clear the lip later... right???

I sanded it down and it looked pretty good. Most of the clear came off and it was koo for painting. Go ask jaws or somthing. He polished his wheels and maybe you can do the same with ur lip.

I've got about 6-7 stockers in my garage. 2002blackGT has like 18 wheels that came with the Tib he bought. lmao.gif

^^^ haha... its crazy how many ppl buy so many different kinds of wheels for their cars. I can barely afford to have these and fixing them is probably going to kick my arse.
My plan today is to go to wal-mart or a paint store and pick up some paint thinner... i was thinking last night that it might actually be able to take the clear off without damaging the aluminum surface... or i may try the acid stuff if i could ever find it.

home depot and Lowes carry "aircraft stripper" which is a really good paint remover.
And I have a lot of rims around too. Two sets of stock steel rims, two sets of aluminum. One of each set for each of my cars.
