Cheap rims? control Arm? i still have stock springs and struts. i know it doesn't help that i live in NJ , and the roads arent the greats over here. Help me out guys i wanna get a new set by this summer but i don't want to run into this problem again

Had the same thing happen to me..except I just went over a big hidden pothole and bent one of my rims. Over there in NJ you just have to watch for potholes and get some better rims and different profile tires.

i had 35 profile on some 18s i had on the tib. it was a bumpy ride but i never cracked or bent a rim from potholes or anyhting like that. Only messed one up when i rammed it into a curb to miss some dumb b**** that pulled in front of me. grrrr

whoa, it put stars there for me. very interesting... b**** f***
FYI it lets you say the "s" one but i took it out cuz im not sure if we get in trouble for that or not lol ok im done playing now

I've got 17'' Motegi FF5 Wheels with 205/40/17's they have been curbchecked but only because iscratched them trying to get over far enough to the curb and less out of the street.

I have 205/50 R16. They are a bit bigger in outer diameter than stock wheel, but I have no issues on stock springs.

get tires with hard sidewall.

There are also tires that secure rim lip, like Dunlop SP 9000 that I have smile.gif
