Everyone I have talked to seems to like the H&R springs.

Odessit, is your goal to have your wheels tucked in the fenders? If not, the 1.2 drop will be fine, especially with 17's. If you don't care about the feel and are just looking for the tucked look, grab the arospeeds. If you want more quality, I think ground control makes sleeves for our cars, and they use eibach springs (at least I think they do). If you are lowering your car at all, I would get new struts because the stockers aren't meant to deal with that height or travel. You can pick up KYB's cheap on ebay.

If you are gonna spend $400-500 on this stuff, I would just pony up a little more and look at the H&R cup suspension. You can get it at Tire Rack for under $600.

Then, get the H&R cup suspension. It has a 2.0 front, 1.75 rear drop. It is non adjustable, but honestly, how often would you be adjusting the ride height anyway? If you are looking for a good set of matched springs and struts with a bit more drop than the eibachs, this is probably the way to go.

The only problem I see in your plan is going with unmatched components. The eibach springs are good, the kyb struts are good, but together, are they great? They probably are a decent match, but, getting matched units is better. Getting the eibach dampers with the eibach springs would probably be better than the kyb's. Same with the H&R setup, the cup suspension is specifically designed to work in unison. I'm not saying the eibach springs and kyb's will be bad, but there is always better. I figure I will just wait and get the Tein kit when I go to upgrade/replace my suspension. I just wish Tein made a swaybar kit for us.

Default FS: OBX underdrive crank pulley!

yea, you make a good point, but i do not care about matchin up that much... we will see. I might even go with aerospeed spring and see how they perform for their price.

and btw, why cant you get a swaybar from a newer tibby, gt model? it's 19.2mm, a lot thicker than stock!

I'm tellin you man, the Arospeed coilovers perform moderately well as long as you don't mind bouncing around a lot. I've had mine for almost a year and you don't get used to it...its still irritating.

Im going to post a "Before and after Pic" thing in a few days about my H&R / KYB combo, and a write up about how they feel.
So far I am very happy with them... its been over a month since I had them installed
