that 4 is the world engine right? I thought it was supposed to be much higher. this site claims 285 out of a turbo world engine.

Damn, but remember, the same engine turbocharged the same way can put out drastically different HP depending on the boost.
This makes me think 215-220 is real low considering the 175hp N/a figure. I doubt it would have 285 because it would be the obvious choice over the V6. Maybe we'll get lucky and itll be like 250-260, but remember, this is supposed to be the base model.
Now im interested in seeing what Hyundai puts out, Hyundai prolly thinks everybody is clammoring over the 300+hp V6, not expecting so many of us to be drooling over the I4 turbo haha

Eh, there's only 30hp difference on the tiburon. If it's 320 for the v6, thats 35hp difference.
Edit: 90% of the population is interested in the v6 because it's ranked higher they have no idea what the power difference is. People STILL ask me if my car is the gt. When I say its a 4 they are all like... oh. Then I explain it's putting down about 100hp at the wheels more than that gt. They seem to understand a bit better.

I think they are trying to get away from the v6 and I4 models being only a few dozen HP from each other. I'm feeling pretty certain that at least 50hp will separate the v6 and I4, I'd like to be optimistic and say they'd be only separated by 30 or so, but i doubt it.
Either way, mbc and exhaust and you got as much as the V6

Funny, funny. Its good you guys respect my thoughts at least. I respect yours too. I like being the abomnible BK party crasher.
I will say it combines elements from solara, altima coupe, g35 coupe, mazda 3 rear, accord coupe, mercades in the front wheelbase. They said that's what they were aiming for. If modest styling sells more units than Aphrodite, than be it.
