just in case anyone still hasn't seen it yet:
Hyundai Genesis Sedan is now in production. I was just watching a Korean drama today and it was being driven in it!! It's said to be released on Dec.29/07

Just to help resolve this. Hyundai Genesis Coupe as it is shown in photos in silver will go more or less in production. Main difference between that "production concept" and other "HCD concepts" is that Genesis Coupe has been tested and you could see its masked pictures all over the net last few months. As for the HCD's there were never (or I did not see them) spy shots of any of those just photos shown as commercial reviews and announcements. Genesis Coupe has and it is being tested and if Hyundai follows same logic as with previous GK models I am sure that we could see it in sales somewhere around june or july. Remeber that there were no big improvements in design of the regular GK models from those seen on spy shots with covers. If Genesis Coupe were just another concept I really doubt it would be so extensively tested in different conditions.
Hyundai also announced recently that Genesis and Genesis Coupe will keep its Hyundai insignia in the whole market except in Korea and China. Korean and chinese market will see change of insignia (with the wings) as shown in the above picture for both Genesis and Genesis Coupe.
Hope this helps :-D

i just got a test drive in a prototype genesis sedan Saturday and it was sweet. unfortunately it was the V6 and not the 8 so it was lacking some balls but not bad. Definitely an improvement with the rear wheel drive but since its a 4,300 lbs car with a v6 in it, it just left me wanting the coup to come out sooner haha. my friend whos working with the car (who by the way hates hyundais) says its really not a bad car and said the coup version, which he keeps referring to as the BK model, is going to be insane. so this coming from a guy not to keen on hyundai really means a lot. i will say that i was not too keen on the shiftronic in the car, not that it sucked but i really didnt fully understand how to operate it well. its a bit different then a regular manual that im use to... no surprise right? haha. he was able to get a lot more out of the shiftronic then i was, but hes also a lot better of a competitive driver then i am.

aww i wish i could, i didnt have a camera with me. but thats not to say that it wont be back. he drives it to and from work. it looks like ass though because not too long ago they removed the outer covers that conceal what it looks like so it has what looks like duct tape residue all over it.
