How did you first get involved in the car/Hyundai scene?

Well, I’ve always, always been into cars! Ever since I was a kid…I used to sleep with dinky cars!! As weird as that sounds, they have just always been of interest to me. As soon as I got my licence I automatically fell in with a crew of people that were also interested in the scene. Since then I have met tons of people!! And as far as the Hyundai scene well I got my first car when I was 16. A 95 sunfire, and it was enough for awhile but didn’t fulfill my need for a nice sports car. That’s when I had spotted the first gen Tiburons and fell in love. I had wanted one for about a year before I bought mine and finally found the perfect one that was just calling me! I’ve had it for 2 years now.

Is it difficult and if so, how do you handle being in a male dominated sport?

Haha…well it’s not too bad. I live in a smaller city so I know pretty much everyone in the scene around here. It’s actually not too bad being a girl in the scene, if anything I think the fact that I mod my car and know alot of stuff about cars actually makes it pretty easy to fit in even if I dont know anyone. And I pretty much have the attitude that I dont care what anyone has to say about my car. I’ll say something right back, so that helps.

What percentage of Import models do you think actually know how to tune cars?

Hhmmm….I don’t really know. I’m not even sure how many import models would actually own an import car! But if I had to take a guess, maybe 20-25%. I really have no idea.

What’s your dream car?

Definitely would have to say the newest style Toyota Supra! I absolutely love those cars.

What are some of your other hobbies and interests?

Working! HaHa…that’s not really a hobby but it’s what I spend all day Mon-Fri doing! I also like to make beaded jewelry. I sell it kind of on the side, and I have a big job for a party coming up where I have lots of jewelry to make and can earn lots of money, as well.

Should some of the big car shows (HIN, NOPI, etc) have a Female Tuner class?

Yes they definetly should! I think that would be a good way to draw more girls into the scene and maybe give them a little motivation.
